ACLE MODEL FLYING CLUB
Are you looking for a fun and exciting hobby? Join the Acle Model Flying Club! Our club is dedicated to the sport of flying model aeroplanes and helicopters. Whatever your skill level, our club has something for everyone. We offer training sessions for beginners and social gatherings. Our experienced instructors can provide guidance and support as you learn and improve your flying skills. We also offer a trial flight with a no-risk buddy system, so you can fly risk-free. As a club member, you’ll have access to our well-maintained flying field which, is equipped with all the necessary amenities. BADMINTON
Get fitter at Bracecamp Parish Hall, Ormesby St Margaret on Wednesdays at 7.30pm for 2.5 hours. Adults welcome – beginners and experienced. £3.00 per session includes tea/coffee. Contact Dean on 07776 304652.
BROADLAND WOODTURNERS
We are a small group of like-minded Woodturners that enjoy passing on our skills. We welcome other Woodturners to join us to impart and learn new skills, have hands on demonstrations, encourage members to take part and try anything they are not sure of. We also have a collection of DVDs for training purposes. We meet at Filby Club House, Main Road. The meetings are on 1st Tuesday of the month 7.00pm start. CAISTER MEN’S SHED
We meet weekly at the Caister Community Spoon, King George V Playing Field, Allendale Rd, Caister-on-Sea, Great Yarmouth every Friday. A two hour FREE community space for men to connect, converse and create. The activities on offer are similar to those you would do in your garden shed, but for groups of men to enjoy together.The aim is to help reduce loneliness and isolation, but most importantly, have fun. CAISTER PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB
A small friendly photographic club that welcomes both experienced photographers and those who have just got their first camera or just want to get better photographs from their phone. We meet every Wednesday evening in All Saints Parish Hall, Scratby at 7.30pm for a 8.00pm start. Variety of speakers, workshops, competitions, studio nights and outings. The group has just completed its first successful year. All are welcome, free refreshments. Come along for a friendly game of whist, all abilities welcome, tuition available. The Edward Birkbeck, Winterton’s last ever Lifeboat, has been moved to secure storage after having to remove her from her previous site where restoration had been undertaken for a number of years.
