GORLESTON FIBROMYALGIA & CHRONIC PAIN SUPPORT GROUP

We are a peer support group for people with Fibromyalgia or other chronic pain conditions in the Great Yarmouth & surrounding areas. Our goal is to provide a relaxed and safe space where people can share & discuss their experiences of living with a chronic illness. Meetings held on the 2nd Tuesday of every month from 11.30am-1.30pm at Magdalen Way Methodist Church, Gorleston NR31 7DB. Visit www.gygfibro.org.uk or email gygfibro@gmail.com.

GREAT YARMOUTH & GORLESTON MEMORY CLUB

Meets Mondays from 10.00am-2.00pm at All Saints’ Parish Hall, Scratby for those in the early stages of dementia or due to bereavement or other circumstances find themselves socially isolated. Referrals are accepted from Doctors, Social Services, Housing Associations or relatives. Small charge includes lunch. New volunteers and members most welcome. MARTHAM LIBRARY BEREAVEMENT CAFE

A time and place to meet and have a cuppa and chat with others who are bereaved. No need to book, just drop in to the library every Friday from 12.30-2.00pm.


VISION NORFOLK

Celebrating 220 years om 2025, from our humble beginnings in 1805. We are the 5th oldest sight loss charity in the UK. Those with sight loss have the opportunity to join our coffee mornings (see page 71) to socialise, discuss ways to live with sight loss and understand the help available. All are welcome, carers and family members too. Drop in for a few minutes or spend two hours in the company of others with vision impairment and some of our Vision Norfolk staff who can help and advise you. Contact 01493 745973.
